About Almond FinTech
Almond FinTech is a B2B fintech company founded in 2020 and headquartered in Boston. The company operates an intelligence layer for cross-border FX payments, using a programmable, multi-chain orchestration engine to route transactions across 100+ stablecoins and blockchains in real time.
Founded by Adam Swartzbaugh, a former US Army Special Forces officer and MIT Sloan MBA, Almond's mission is to unify global financial infrastructure and make cross-border money movement faster, cheaper, and more accessible. The platform serves banks, fintechs, money transmitters, and corporate treasury teams, and is aligned with MiCA in the EU and the GENIUS Act in the US.
The raise.
In November 2025, Almond FinTech announced a strategic investment from DELTA Wealth Partners (DWP), an Abu Dhabi-based investment firm regulated in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The announcement was made on stage at Web Summit Lisbon 2025, one of the world's largest technology gatherings.
DWP is led by Dr. Abdalla Kablan and focuses on AI, deep tech, and automation ventures. The firm operates under a philosophy it calls "Artificial Wisdom" - investing in companies that combine technological excellence with social and economic purpose. The investment in Almond aligned directly with this thesis given Almond's focus on financial inclusion and underbanked markets.
"DELTA Wealth Partners is precisely the type of purpose-driven investor that will help Almond FinTech achieve its mission to unify the world's financial infrastructure, making money movement more efficient and cost-effective."
